The largest poker tournament series of the year is coming to BetOnline Poker this week with the arrival of the Championship Online Poker Series.
The Championship Online Poker Series runs from September 24 to October 8 with a massive schedule that includes 192 events with a combined $3 million guaranteed prize pool.
The series includes something for everyone with a large variety of tournaments, including Deepstack, PKO, R/A, Turbo tournaments, and some Pot-Limit Omaha as well. Buy-ins begin at $11 and run up to $209. Even if you can’t afford the more expense tournaments there are satellite qualifiers running daily with buy-ins as low as $1.
The largest guarantee in the Championship Online Poker Series is in the Main Event. It’s scheduled for the final day of the series on October 8th at 1:30 p.m. The Main Event has a $300,000 guarantee and a $109 buy-in.
During the Championship Online Poker Series if you play in any event on Day 2 of the series or later and finish outside the money, you have a chance to win a free entry into a future event. Anyone who misses the money in a Championship Online Poker Series tournament will be automatically invited to an Instant All-In Shootout the following day. These shootout tournaments will award random free tournament tickets to players.
The shootout tournaments are just the beginning of prizes being offered during the Championship Online Poker Series. Throughout the series BetOnline Poker will offer weekly challenges to players. If you complete these weekly challenges, you could win cash and prizes, including more free tournament tickets.
